Setting Samba di Debian 6.0

Setting Samba di Debian 6.0 itu susah-susah gampang. Jadi harus diikat ilmu dan pengalamannya dengan tulisan agar tidak hilang.

Pertama file smb.conf yang ada di etc/samba harus dimodifikasi dulu.

Caranya:

1. Terminal

2. su -

3. isi password

4. cd ..

5. cd etc/samba

6. gedit smbg.conf

Tambahkan user samba:



saya jalankan juga:

smbpasswd nizami

isi password 2x

Sebelumnya Folder DATA yang akan dishare harus dibuat dulu.

Kemudian set permission:

chmod 777 DATA

 

Buat juga file untuk menjalankan Samba, misalnya start.sh:

cd ..
cd etc/init.d
./samba restart

Buat file tersebut executable. Kemudian jalankan:

../start.sh
